Meet Francisco Panesso | Owner Nexa Painting Solutions, Photographer, Husband and Father.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Francisco Panesso and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Francisco, how do you think about risk?
Risk is the brushstroke that defines the masterpiece. Leaving a stable job to launch Nexa was a leap, but Denver Colorado’s spirit of reinvention inspired me. It taught me: Calculated risks—rooted in knowing your community’s pulse—aren’t reckless; they’re revolutionary.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Nexa Painting Solutions: More Than Paint. We Transform Spaces, One Story at a Time.
At Nexa Painting Solutions, we don’t just paint walls we reimagine environments. Born in Denver, a city where rugged mountains meet urban creativity, we bridge artistry and functionality to turn ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences.
We ascribe to the idea that ‘failure is not an option.’ At Nexa, we see setbacks as creative fuel. Painting is layered—literally and metaphorically.
A color that doesn’t work or a texture that needs rethinking? That’s how we innovate. In business and art, perfectionism stifles growth. Our best solutions emerged from ‘happy accidents.’
The Journey: Grit, Not Glory
Was it easy? Absolutely not.
Year 1. I maxed credit cards to buy supplies, painted homes by day, and hustled for contracts at Denver startup events by night.
Key Lessons Learned
Authenticity > Hustle: Denverites spot insincerity. We stopped chasing trends and leaned into our *hybrid style*—mountain-modern meets urban edge.
For me, the most important lesson has always been to face each person you have encountered in your life with sincerity and respect.
What We Want the World to Know?
We’re storytellers with brushes.
Your home isn’t just walls—it’s where memories live.
Your business isn’t just a space—it’s your brand’s handshake.
At Nexa, we listen first, then craft color narratives that *feel* uniquely you.
We’re proud to be Denver-grown, community-fed, and relentlessly creative.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the parks and green spaces in Denver, any spot that I can find the true spirit of Denver. Festivals, art shows, Elitches, murals painted on bridges, street art, these are the places where I can feel the city breathing. Living in Denver is like having synesthesia. Go to the Santa Fe Arts District and smell the art. Visit the Platte River at Commons Park and breathe the water. Visit a local pub like Second Dawn and feel the brew.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Melita Quance, She is my wife and my support throughout my entire history of living in this country.
