We had the good fortune of connecting with Holly Sisa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Holly, what inspires you?
I’m inspired by change and wanting to make my community better. If I can make change in one person, then I know that i’m doing something right.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am so proud of how far Morning Mimosas has gone. I started this podcast over two years ago, and in that short time, i’ve seen myself become this woman that I never thought I’d be. I got to where I am today because I listened to others who have done what i’m doing now and then also put my flavor into it as well. I learned that you can’t be everyone’s friend no matter how much you want to love on everyone and no matter how much you want to see change in everyone. I want people to know that my podcast is not going anywhere and that’s the change that we are working towards is being done. And will continue to be done.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit me. I would take them to the seven falls in Colorado Springs. Get a room at the broadmoor hotel. And go look at the sites up there. Colorado springs is absolutely beautiful. And to be somewhere outside of denver, where the altitude is higher, would just be hmm, more fun.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out everyone that has supported my podcast and supported me going back to school to get my bachelor’s degree. There’s too many names to name, but they know who they are and they know that I’m forever grateful for them helping me become the woman that I am today.
