Meet Jordan Thompson | Air Brush Spray Tanning

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Thompson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jordan, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
My son is 5 years old and for the first few years of his life I was a single parent. He grew up watching me work and go to school while also making quality time a priority. He has seen my business grow and has developed relationships with my clients and their families. He has sat with me while I wrote papers and attended work days with me. I believe all of these things have taught my son hard work and integrity and the importance of prioritizing family.
Now, my little family has grown and I have a partner and another sweet baby in the picture. My tanning business is in its 8th year of business and still growing. My children continue to watch my work ethic and diligence toward customer services and satisfaction.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business focuses on accentuating natural beauty with the addition of a beautiful glow. Spray tanning gets a bad rap and I am here to show people that tanning can be beautiful and natural without causing skin cancer or making you have that dreaded orange hue.
I started by working mobile and going from home to home for appointments, to having a salon home base where women would come to tan, to now tanning from my own home. These transitions were hard, overhead was expensive and change is always hard. My clients have always been flexible and understanding.
I am constantly trying new formulas and solutions to ensure I have the best products on the market for natural looking tans.

Jordan offers a full menu of organic spray tanning options that give you a natural and beautiful glow. Jordan has an in-home tanning set up where the spray tan is applied with an airbrush machine by hand. Orange uneven machine applied tans are a thing of the past. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my bestie was here for the weekend I would take them up to the mountains! I would pit stop at Red Rocks for the views, then head to Beau Joes pizza in Idaho Springs and walk around the shops. Then a scenic drive around the mountains for the views to end it off.
The next day we would head to Denver to adventure the city. We would go to a Rockies game to get that true Denver feel after checking out a few bars around the stadium. After we would have to head to Uno Mas for some tacos!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My clients! Through facebook bridal groups and word of mouth groups, my clients have done the best marketing I could have ever asked for. Sharing my name and my business in such a positive light is such a gift.
