We had the good fortune of connecting with Meghan Maxson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Meghan, what matters most to you?
Integrity is definitely my most valued principle. Clients reach out to me because they are feeling overwhelmed and stuck. I’m very aware of how vulnerable clients may feel when working with a professional organizer because I’m helping them in their sacred and intimate spaces. Having integrity and being non-judgmental are crucial values for being a Professional Organizer ❤️
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I want the world to know that when you hire Streamlined Living Colorado, you can rest easy knowing you’ll receive judgement-free support in creating a peaceful and more useful space. I’m very proud of how my skillset can provide calm among chaos.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
It’s always so fun to show visitors Red Rocks! I also love bringing visitors to the many breweries in the foothills, especially Woods Boss Brewing Company in Denver. The Woods Boss taproom is so unique and beautiful!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband deserves 100% of the credit for putting the thought in my head to become a Professional Organizer. He made the comment “Looks like you found your new career!” after I told him about how I did a bunch of unpacking and organizing at my sister’s new house. It was a lightbulb moment that I’ll never forget!
