We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabra Eubanks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sabra, what do you attribute your success to?
My success comes down to clarity of vision and a refusal to water myself down. I think people are drawn to boldness, not just in the visuals but in the energy behind the work. My work isn’t for everyone. It’s for the ones who want more. More emotion, more edge, more story. Staying true to that, even when it would be easier to blend in, is the reason I’ve been able to build something lasting.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a photographer, but more than that, I’m a visual narrator. My work blends the rawness of documentary storytelling with a refined editorial edge. I want my images to feel like stills from a film, emotional, intentional, and full of atmosphere.

What sets my work apart is that I never chase trends. I’m not interested in what’s popular—I’m interested in what’s true. Whether it’s a wedding, a portrait, or an intimate family moment, I approach it with the same level of care and vision. I want the people I photograph to feel seen, but I also want the images to feel timeless, like they could live in a magazine or a memory.

Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. There were seasons I doubted everything. But I kept going because I believed in the work and the way it connects people. I’ve learned that consistency is louder than perfection. That staying true to your voice, especially when it’s quieter or different—is the most powerful thing you can do.

If there’s one thing I want people to know about Sabra Photo, it’s that this isn’t just a job to me. It’s a deeply personal craft. Every image is a piece of my story too.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, I just moved here a few months ago, but I already have a few favorites. Horsetooth Reservoir is perfect for a summer spritz and a swim. It’s my go-to escape when I need sun and space. St. Mary’s Glacier is one of the most insanely beautiful hikes I’ve done so far, like stepping into a different world.

For food and drinks, Corsica is unreal. Elevated but not fussy, and always a vibe. And Pon Pon has definitely claimed the title of my favorite dive bar. It’s got character, good energy, and strong drinks. I’m still exploring, but Colorado’s already starting to feel like home.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My best friends who have consistently rooted me on, the clients who took a chance on me early on, the fellow artists who reminded me I was allowed to take up space. And always, my husband, steady, supportive, and endlessly encouraging. Every bold move I’ve made has been built on the foundation of their belief in me.
