We had the good fortune of connecting with Shyanne Burson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shyanne, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I love this question! The most important factor behind my success is Niki
Levengood. She is the best women
entrepreneur I know. Niki has given me
the opportunity to build the Tame Brand
here in Colorado. I am so thankful for
this journey and am beyond excited to
open a Salon next year. (At the moment I’m in Indie Salon Suites)

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
This is Tame Hair Salons second location. Our original location is in Gahanna, Ohio. When I moved back home to Colorado last year, Niki and I decided to start Tame Colorado. Since last May I have worked really hard to build our clientele/brand and have loved every minute of it! I love being a hairstylist and coming to work every day! Excited to expand next year in the Littleton area.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I definitely would take them to a Red Rocks Show!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to thank Niki Levengood, She is the talented owner of Tame Hair Salon and had given me the opportunity to grow our brand in Colorado. Also I joined a program called Real beauty Bosses, which has helped me build my clientele very rapidly this last year.
